Shah Alam, 4 December 2025 - The HELP Education Group officially launched the HELP Sports Oval at its Subang 2 campus, a multi-million landmark investment that marks a key milestone in the Group’s five to ten-year plan to transform Subang 2 into a next-generation integrated education hub.

Featuring a FIFA-certified artificial turf football field and a Malaysia Athletic Federation (MAF)-certified eight-lane running track, and an integrated basketball court, the HELP Sports Oval provides a world-class area for students and athletes. The launch was graced by Y. B. Puan Hannah Yeoh, Minister of Youth and Sports, alongside the HELP Education Group co-founders, Professor Datuk Dr Paul Chan, and Datin Chan-Low Kam Yoke, leaders Adam Chan Eu-Khin (Deputy Chairman), Dr Goh Chee Leong (Group co-CEO, Tertiary) and Dr Gerard Louis (Group co-CEO, K–12). Also present was Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri, State Assembly Member of Kota Damansara Y.B. Tuan Muhammad Izuan Ahmad Kasim, and the Ministry of Education’s Director of Private Education Division, Datin Rosliza Rosli.

A Milestone in HELP’s Evolving Education Ecosystem

The HELP Sports Oval represents the “wellness and performance” pillar of HELP’s vision to create an integrated education town in the fast growing corridor between Kwasa Sentral and the City of Elmina. This long-term plan aims to build a holistic ecosystem of learning, innovation, wellbeing and talent development.

“HELP’s transformation of Subang 2 goes far beyond infrastructure upgrades,” said Adam Chan. “We are creating a vibrant environment that brings academic excellence, enterprise, innovation, mental health and sports in one connected community. The HELP Sports Oval is a meaningful step forward in this journey.”

Nurturing Rising Talent

The launch brought together students, parents and community partners, underscoring HELP’s commitment to nurturing athletic potential through international-standard facilities. Across HELP International School and HELP University, the Group currently nurtures numerous national athletes across various disciplines who balance competitive sports with rigorous academic pathways.

The new Oval will support these athletes while opening doors for many more students to pursue holistic development through sports, character-building and leadership opportunities.

YB Puan Hannah Yeoh drove home the message that sports are one of the greatest teachers in a child’s life. “Sports teach discipline and the ability to lose graciously. When children fall and get up again, they’re building the resilience they need for real-life rejection and challenges,” she said. She also reminded the audience that raising champions takes an entire ecosystem. “It starts with parents and schools walking this journey together. Congratulations to all parents here at HELP International School, you’re showing that you’re investing in your child’s growth through sports.”

Strengthening Community Through Sport

HELP also emphasised its commitment to ensuring that the HELP Sports Oval benefits not just its own students, but the wider community in and around Subang Bestari.

“As we build this next phase of Subang 2, it is important that our facilities serve not just our campus, but the whole community,” said Adam Chan. “Sports has the unique ability to break barriers, deepen friendships and strengthen unity. With this Oval, we want to create a space

where young people can come together with inter-school tournaments, training, and other collaborative community programmes.”

Growing Ecosystem for a Future-Ready Campus

The HELP Sports Oval is a part of a series of developments that will elevate Subang 2 into a fully integrated education hub. Upcoming expansions include a purpose-built residential tertiary precinct, designed to support wellbeing, academic focus and a strong sense of belonging for both local and international students.

As Subang 2 evolves into an integrated education hub, HELP remains focused on creating an environment where learning, living and meaningful engagement come together in a dynamic, forward-looking campus ecosystem.
