The 2026 Yabun Festival will take place at Victoria Park, Sydney on Monday 26 January from 10am to 7pm.

Australia’s largest one-day festival will honour and celebrate the world’s oldest living cultures with food trucks, market stalls, short films, children's activities, weaving workshops and a stellar line-up of live music performances including Barkaa, 3% and more.

Yabun Festival is organised and presented by Gadigal Information Service, with support from the City of Sydney.

The word ‘Yabun’ means ‘music to a beat’ in Gadigal language. In its early years, it was more a big concert, a place where legendary performers like the late Uncle Archie Roach and Uncle Jimmy Little took to the stage. As well as local and up and coming acts of the day like Jessica Mauboy, Dan Sultan and Emma Donavan.

There’s still plenty of live music, and the line-up includes favourites and new artists.

Don’t miss Yabun 2026, with cultural performances, music, a bustling stalls market, panel discussions and community forums, cooking demonstrations and children’s activities.
