/ Glem.ai establishes Beijing base to advance global enterprise AI expansion
KUALA LUMPUR and BEIJING, 7 October 2026. Glem.ai, a Malaysian enterprise AI orchestration and governance company, today announced its incorporation in China and the opening of an office in Beijing’s Central Business District. The new entity, 北京革睿科技有限公司 (Beijing Gerui Technology Co. Ltd.), establishes a permanent base for technology collaboration and business development in China.
The expansion follows Glem.ai’s recognition as a winner of ITEC 2025 and is supported by Beijing’s Chaoyang District government. In September 2026, Co-Founder and CEO Ryan Tay and Co-Founder and CTO Alvin Chua joined the Malaysian delegation to China initiated by YB Lee Chean Chung.
“Our ambition is to build a global enterprise AI company from Malaysia, helping organisations transform how they operate while retaining control of their technology and data,” said Ryan Tay. “Our Beijing base brings us closer to China’s strengths in AI and industrial innovation. We want to build lasting partnerships here, develop solutions together and take Malaysian innovation into enterprise markets around the world.”
Glem.ai plans to work with Chinese enterprises and technology partners, initially focusing on manufacturing and healthcare. The Beijing presence will also support opportunities to bring solutions developed through these collaborations to Malaysia and other international markets.
Glem.ai’s approach begins with the design of the business process. Introducing AI into an existing workflow can amplify inefficiencies and expose weaknesses when the underlying process is flawed. The company helps enterprises rethink how work should be carried out, where agents can take responsibility and where human oversight remains essential.
Its team delivers this agentic business process reengineering using the Glem platform and PMAL, a methodology it developed around Plan, Monitor, Action and Learn. PMAL guides the redesign of operations from the ground up, incorporating agentic AI into the process itself and using operational feedback to improve it over time.
“AI can scale the weaknesses of a flawed process just as quickly as it scales the work,” said Alvin Chua. “We redesign the process from the ground up, then provide the orchestration, governance and infrastructure enterprises need to trust it. Our ambition is to make AI dependable enough to take on complex operational responsibilities under clear human authority, across entire organisations.”
Applications span Agentic MES, which brings AI agents into manufacturing execution, and Agentic Vision, which applies AI to CCTV and visual monitoring, alongside workflows across other enterprise functions.
As AI adoption grows, departments increasingly build their own applications or introduce different agents, models and tools. Glem provides a shared orchestration and governance layer through which these initiatives can be connected and managed, giving organisations room to innovate while maintaining oversight.
The platform provides visibility and traceability into which AI systems and agents are being used, the data they access and their associated costs. Access controls and full audit records support accountability, while deployment inside an organisation’s own infrastructure allows it to retain sovereignty over its data. This gives enterprises a foundation for extending their AI transformation as new use cases and technologies emerge.
The Glem.ai team has worked with leading organisations across oil and gas, manufacturing, healthcare and government. Its enterprise delivery experience includes projects that achieved a 90% reduction in processing time and over US$40 million in cost savings. The company has a presence and active projects across Malaysia, the Philippines and the Middle East, with Beijing now providing a base in China.
