Born Karitta Santee in Khon Kaen, Thailand, Yayee's passion for music blossomed in Mahasarakam, where she currently resides. From a young age, she immersed herself in both modern music and dance, alongside traditional Thai dancing, showcasing her diverse creative talents. This unique blend of influences shaped her artistic identity and laid the foundation for her eclectic musical style. Yayee further honed her skills at Mahasarakham University, majoring in Western music, which broadened her understanding of various musical forms and techniques.

Yayee's versatility is one of her defining characteristics as an artist. She masterfully navigates various genres, drawing inspiration from a wide range of artists. These include pop icons like Ariana Grande, South Korean rapper B.I, and Bang Ye Dam from the boy band Treasure, whose song “Treasure My Treasure” has significantly influenced her. Her journey took a significant turn after auditioning for the Norwegian production company Up! Hit Music Production, where she secured a deal with a team dedicated to nurturing emerging artists.
