Custom free-form cooling channels precisely follow mold cavity contours to deliver uniform heat dissipation, perfectly matching magnesium’s rapid cooling characteristics. Built-in temperature sensors transmit real-time data to enable automatic coolant flow adjustment, controlling cavity temperature fluctuation within ±5°C, compared with ±42°C for traditional dies. Mass production trials in North America confirm that the new mold reduces cycle time by 20%, cuts shrinkage and porosity-related defects by over 63%, and extends key insert service life from 38,000 shots to 125,000 shots. Notably, it delivers equivalent precision and durability to high-end European dies at only 52% of the cost, greatly improving manufacturers’ overall production profitability.
