ASUENE Advances Sustainability Across Four Global World Football Summit Events Through Year-Long Partnership

ASUENE APAC Pte. Ltd., the Singapore-based overseas subsidiary of ASUENE Inc., carried out sustainability initiatives across four World Football Summit (WFS) events in Hong Kong, Madrid, Riyadh, and Mexico City through its global sustainability partnership with WFS from September 2025 to June 2026.

The partnership included GHG emissions measurement, CSR activities, and sustainability workshops at each event, helping advance sustainable event operations and decarbonization efforts across the sports industry.

World Football Summit (WFS) brings together clubs, leagues, governing bodies, brands, investors, and technology companies from across the global football industry to discuss key challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the sport. As sustainability continues to gain importance across the sports sector, reducing the environmental impact of events has become an increasingly important topic within the industry.

At the Hong Kong summit in September 2025, ASUENE APAC conducted a comprehensive carbon accounting of the event and analyzed its environmental impact, including emissions associated with attendee and stakeholder travel. The company’s ability to measure event-related emissions and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement was recognized by WFS, leading to its continued participation as the Global Sustainability Partner at subsequent events in Madrid, Riyadh, and Mexico City.

Beyond promoting sustainability at individual events, the partnership created opportunities for engagement with organizations across the sports ecosystem, including sponsors, business partners, and local stakeholders in each host city. Through its activities and discussions at the four summits, ASUENE APAC contributed to advancing sustainable event operations across the global sports industry.
