The opening marks a major milestone in Fourier Rehab’s ongoing collaboration with PERKESO, which began in 2022 with the deployment of RehabHub™ devices at PERKESO's expansive 55-acre rehabilitation center in Malacca. Today, the partnership enters a new chapter with the launch of one of the region’s most advanced rehabilitation facilities.

Designed to accommodate up to 700 patients at a time, the Sultan Nazrin Shah PERKESO Rehabilitation Center is built for scale and impact. Beyond serving local patients, the center will also serve as a global center of excellence for PERKESO's Rehabilitation and Return to Work programs, setting a new international benchmark for technology-enabled recovery and workforce reintegration.

The Ipoh center features an expanded suite of Fourier's rehabilitation devices, including the first installation of the MetaMotus™ Galileo in Southeast Asia and the Humanoid Robot GRx series, both deployed to support research and rehabilitation applications.

The center is equipped with a comprehensive range of Fourier Rehab’s devices, offering holistic, technology-driven rehabilitation for patients across multiple areas of recovery:

•            ExoMotus™ M4

•            ArmMotus™ EMU

•            ArmMotus™ M2

•            WristMotus™ M1W

•            AnkleMotus™ M1A

•            PelmaMotus™

•            CycleMotus™ A4

•            MetaMotus™ Galileo

The opening ceremony offered a glimpse into the future of rehabilitation and clinical care through live humanoid demonstrations. The GRx showcased its capabilities in fitness routines, and humanoid robots’ potential role could support occupational therapy in clinical research settings. Together, these applications highlighted the expanding role of humanoid robotics in patient care, with future possibilities spanning mobility assistance, ward patrols, and patient companionship.
