Thailand's Decarbonization Goals

The Thai government has set ambitious decarbonization targets, aiming to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and net-zero emissions by 2065.

Meanwhile, Thailand has a high concentration of manufacturing supply chains, which account for a significant portion of the country’s carbon emissions. As a global trend, major manufacturers are requiring their suppliers to reduce emissions. 

Companies are now expected to measure and reduce carbon emissions across the entire supply chain, making the adoption of effective decarbonization solutions an urgent priority.

Details of the Partnership

In November 2024, Asuene established a Thai subsidiary to support Japanese companies’ local operations in Thailand with Scope 3 emissions calculations, as well as calculation and reporting assistance for local companies.
